Philips HearLink hearing aids that have dual-core 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy technology are compatible with:

For all hearing aids we recommend iOS 16 or later.

We recommend you to always update your device to the latest version of the operating system.

Hands-free communication:

Clients can enjoy hands-free calls using their iPhone® or iPad® .

Hands-free communication is supported by HearLink 40 and HearLink 30 hearing aids.

Bi-directional streaming (hands-free communication) is available with iPhone 11 or later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation and 4th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation and 2nd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad mini (6th generation), with software updates iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 or later. Hands-free communication requires minimum firmware 1.3.0 on your hearing aids.

Android direct compatibility

Philips HearLink 9040, 7040, 5040, 9030, 7030, 5030, 3030, 2030 hearing aids support ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids). With ASHA, you can stream audio from your mobile device directly to your hearing aids.

ASHA requires Android 10 or higher. But please be aware that not all devices with Android 10 and higher have ASHA support.

Philips HearLink 2 app compatibility

The Philips HearLink 2 app can be used with wireless Philips HearLink hearing aids.

See the list below to identify the mobile devices which are tested to be compatible with the Philips HearLink 2 app.

If your device is not listed, it is still possible for it to be compatible with the Philips HearLink 2 app.

We recommend you to always update your device to the latest version of the operating system.

Please note, that Philips HearLink 2 app is compatible with devices running on the operating system iOS 16 or above, and Android 13.0 or above.

Philips HearLink Connect app requires a mobile device with Bluetooth 4.2 or above.

The Philips HearLink app can be used with wireless Philips HearLink hearing aids.
